Blood Donors Club

Blood Donors Club

A blood donation occurs when a person voluntarily has blood drawn and used for transfusions and/or made into biopharmaceutical medications by a process called fractionation (separation of whole-blood components). Donation may be of whole blood, or of specific components directly (the latter called apheresis). Blood banks often participate in the collection process as well as the procedures that follow it.

Donation of blood is the sign of kindness and care for the fellow human beings. There is no gift more valuable than a Gift of Blood.

Life is the most precious and it is an irretrievable one. The need for blood is great. On any given day, an average of 34,000 units of blood is needed to save precious human life. Our staff and students have always risen to the occasion and have rendered timely help in many cases of emergency.

Voluntary Blood Donation Camp are organized regularly on 15th August (Independence Day) and 26th January (Republic Day) every. Staff and Students also donate blood at the time of emergencies.
